I'll keep following your blog and I'll look out for you and your multitude of races. Good luck!Trevorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18042996265425885675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7299086143790529567.post-46330886121630581452011-01-26T15:59:02.218-08:002011-01-26T15:59:02.218-08:00Dan,
Thank you!!! I assume when you say my "...Dan,

Thank you!!! I assume when you say my "endurance has always been the stuff of legend" you are alluding to my ability to carry many, many, many lbs of random stuff in my fanny pack.

In face, Jamie says I need an intervention. But now you all will need to catch me to do this!

Trevor,

I remember you!

You were so sweet at the finish and I was honored to have my picture taken with you.

I highly recommend racing in a shirt with your name on it because every time I spectate at any race I love to be able to call out runners names (and even in races that print your name on the bib it is too small for me to read!)

I was so happy to wave back, give high 5's and thank the volunteers. We (the runners) are so luck to be able to do something that is so much fun!

Will you be doing RNR Arizona next year? I definitely will be back (but maybe next year I will go back to my rightful place of 5+ hours where I can eat, drink, hula hoop and perhaps even meet the critters along the course--last year there was a live PARROT that a gentleman would let runners hold!!!)

It was a pleasure to meet you and I wish you the best of luck in all your future races. Hopefully our paths will cross again:-)

TammyRunner Tammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00059758273238421216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7299086143790529567.post-16305480943583169152011-01-26T15:39:13.890-08:002011-01-26T15:39:13.890-08:00That's a great post!
I too ran the Arizona R...That's a great post!

I too ran the Arizona R'n'R Marathon. In fact, for the last few miles (maybe 5?) I was right behind you ... lots of people calling your name - as you had it written on your shirt - with you waving in return. Although I usually couldn't see your face during these times, I get the distinct feeling you smiled every time you waved. After following you for so long, and hearing your name so many times, I found myself lined up for the post-race photo across from you. I decided to take your picture, since you were such a constant for me through that last part of the race. Perhaps you remember me asking you if I could take that that photo?

Anyway... after getting home, viewing my finishing video, I also saw yours (my gun time was 17 seconds behind yours) ... plugged your name in the internet, and voilà - found your blog. Trust me, I'm not a stalker! I just thought it was cool that I "found" you after returning home.

Big congratulations on your BQ!Trevorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18042996265425885675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7299086143790529567.post-75080941497100119252011-01-26T09:09:49.348-08:002011-01-26T09:09:49.348-08:00Tammy! Your endurance has always been the stuff of...Tammy! Your endurance has always been the stuff of legend, but now with the addition of SPEED, you're gonna be a serious force to reckon with in all of the 4,573 races you run each year! Congrats on your BQ, you will LOVE every step of that race (and the crowd will love YOU too)!!!Dan Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17148231660865011554noreply@blogger.com
